Our goal is simple: Provide entertainment and levity to help ease the stress of everyday life. We've found that easy-going and upbeat music mixed with a few "dad jokes" seem to really help people relax and unwind.
That's what we want to do: help people.
Carly has pursued many interests related to theater, production, and vocal performance throughout the years. An avid performer from an early age, her influences include Carole King, Joni Mitchell and “whatever nonsense Charlie makes me listen to”. Carly firmly believes that “breakfast is a state of mind” and loves making live music as a Hummingbird because “it’s really fun to not only perform but also interact with people of all ages!”
Charlie began his musical journey at the age of 5 when he stood on a wooden box and sang in church. Though too many to list, a few of his band influences include Durand Jones and the Indications, the Stylistics, the Dramatics, Hall & Oates, the Spinners and Elvis Presley. Charlie loves making live music as a Hummingbird because “it provides an opportunity to help people feel better about life by telling a few AMAZING jokes and weaving together a sonic tapestry of awesome.”
